Astrology A Pseudoscience

Astrology means searching for the meaning of life in the sky. It believes that the time of your birth and the positions of celestial objects at that time can determine your personality, weaknesses, strengths, decisions, compatibility with the people who were born another time, who you marry, who you should date etc. The truth is astrology is an outdated attempt at science. I often wonder how celestial bodies can affect human affairs which are millions or even billions of km away, how could their positions affect you at your birth. Many people argued me it is the gravitational pull that affects our lives. The gravitational pull of the people in the room during your birth would affect you more than the gravitational pull of other planets in our solar system. Newton gave us a simple formula to calculate the gravitational force between two objects. The gravitational force is defined by Gxm1xm2/r^2 where m1 and m2 are the mass of the two bodies, r is the distance between two bodies and G is a constant around 6.674. By this above equation, at the time of your birth, the gravitational pull of Saturn to you is negligible compare to the gravitational pull of your mom to you. Why do not we take into account the position of your mother or the people who were standing in the room when you were born? I do not know what is so special about the moment that you were born. Your biology affects you more which had already been developing in your mother's womb.

The positions of celestial bodies only affect weather and weather has nothing to do with human affairs.
